1ST
Jury Summary:

A clear and clever design that resolves the issue of circulation in a precise way - a project where ‘Form Follows Function’. The use of vertical streets assures an interesting experience for pedestrians and car drivers where such skywalks become a new layer of the city. It assures a unique experience for its users – an interesting idea on how the lift could become a possible solution for an extra layer on an existing city.

It exhibits a high quality presentation and aesthetics of a skyscraper correlating with the program and function where electricity is produced by wind turbines.

Overall, this building works well as a ‘city acupuncture’ – it relates to the context, decreases traffic, indicates a ‘vertical street’ that assures parking lots and connects existing skyscrapers thanks to spectacular skywalks with a green façade to reduce air pollution, as a result enhancing the microclimate of the city and having a positive influence on its inhabitants.
